La Source du Lion is the local organizer of the exhibition Art & African Metropolis, together with the SANAA Gallery from the Netherlands.
La Source du Lion is an artistic project, initiated in 1995 by Hassan Darsi, with a mission to question the place of art as well as the artist; art being considered as a project that involves various dynamics: cultural, social, political, economical, environmental and in the public domain. Its aim is to explore new modes of artistic expression on an individual and collective basis, to revitalize the contemporary art scene in Morocco, and to reach out to a new and more diverse audience.
